Youth Program

The goal of our youth program here at CrossFit Chalmette is to instill in children a positive association with exercise, a desire to be fit, and a goal to live a long, healthy life.

Our program provides youth with a portion of their exercise for the week, improving muscular fitness, engineering endless opportunities for success, and discussing nutrition-all while keeping the class fun and engaging.

Participants will learn the points of performance of foundational movements that have universal application, developing motor recruitment pathways, ensuring safe and efficient movement.

Our program improves:​  Jumping and landing skills, throwing and catching skills, gymnastics skills,  running skills, agility, flexibility, strength, cognitive skills, bone density, and the list goes on!

Our program is divided into two classes, based on age and/or athletic ability.  Upon registration, a member of our staff will reach out to you and let you know which class your child will be in to begin.  

SUPERHEROES class is for younger kids, generally ages 4-8, with a big emphasis on learning in a game/play type environment.  This class is held on Tuesday evenings from 5:45pm-6:30pm.

SPARTANS class is for older kids, generally ages 9-13, with a structure closer to an adult class.  This class is held on Tuesday evenings from 6:45pm-7:30pm.

PRICE:  $8.00 per child per class for members of CrossFit Chalmette, $10 per child per class for non-members of CrossFit Chalmette.

Prior to your first class, you MUST fill out a waiver for EACH CHILD.  Click the button below to sign your waiver.
