Thomas "T-Rex" Friloux is a CrossFit Level-1 Trainer and actively participates in CrossFit training since 2011. Thomas serves as a Colonel of Infantry in the United States Army and has over 30 years of experience with military fitness. He also has over 15 years of Korean martial arts experience and has attained a 1st Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a Brown Belt in Hapkido. He has a BS in Psychology, Master of Arts in Military Studies/Land Warfare, and a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies. Thomas was first introduced to CrossFit in 2011 while at Fort Benning, GA and immediately quit his 20-year plus "globo" gym training routine to adopt this new training methodology. As a career Soldier and son of a retired NOLA fireman, he believes CrossFit, with its philosophy of training for the unknown and the unknowable, is the perfect training program for members of the armed forces, law enforcement, and firemen; but, its benefits should also be available and practiced by everyone. He enjoys coaching advanced athletes with vast experience in CrossFit as well as anyone who is "out of shape" and starting their fitness program from the very beginning.
